The world is grey, a reminder that eyes can only do so much…

Snow is hard to capture…

Waking in the dark, or waking at first light, the day startles us out of sleepy half-light, sometimes into gnawing fear, or, on a good day, into blissful remembrance of happy or happier times…

I hated that I felt a sinking feeling, when you felt hope…

It's such a white, powdery world…

The hills are draped in a wet snow, white against the brush strokes of black trees that follow the ground, in graceful arcs of falling, impassable terrain…
